The decline of society’s faith gives room to the awareness of transience and nihilism as the scourge of humanity. The cynical two-faced spirit prances between arrogance and contempt, love and resentment, between sleeplessness and dreams. The Harlequin as such, a shape-shifter, hides his intristic aims behind his masks. This is the story of IN SOMNIA, as a misanthropic mirror of society in the form of an extreme metal band with influences from black metal, groove metal, core and Viennese Schrammel Music as a horror story, not made to let you sleep at night. The interplay of chaos and order underlines a balance that has gone out of joint. Whoever hears the whisper of the mountains, in their eternal appearance, is aware.
